Interessi di ricerca

Monitoraggio di aree costiere, soprattutto dal punto di vista microbiologico. Isolamento e caratterizzazione dei microrganismi coinvolti nella trasformazione delle forme di arsenico e nella degradazione di idrocarburi policiclici aromatici.
Il ruolo del Postdoc nel progetto è quello di contribuire alla pianificazione e realizzazione dei siti di monitoraggio, anche proponendo nuovi indicatori della qualità delle acque. Si occupa anche di attività di comunicazione e divulgazione.
