Research Interests

The approach to analyzing responses to these factors, both at the individual level, with particular attention to changes in the functional characteristics of organisms, and at the community level, is ecosystem-based. This involves the study of variations and interactions with the abiotic component of the ecosystem, to obtain a detailed description of ecosystem responses and to reveal the disturbance patterns associated with the factors under study. Recognizing the fundamental role of humans as an integral part of the ecosystem, I am also interested in assessing the socio-economic aspects resulting from these impacts. This assessment takes into account the ability of disturbance factors to influence ecosystem goods and services.
