Curriculum Vitae

Director of Studies: Domenico D’Alelio
Internal Supervisor(s): Priscilla Licandro and Paolo Vassallo

Research Interests

The main research interests concern the study of plankton ecology and the study of food webs in marine ecosystems, a good understanding of food webs is essential to ensure the survival of species and to highlight how anthropogenic and environmental pressures can contribute to major socio-ecological changes.
The main skills and competences concern the knowledge of sampling techniques at sea (Niskin bottles), use of multiparametric probes and rosettes (CTD SeaBird), use of bucket for physical, chemical, microbiological and ecotoxicological analyses, collection and storage of samples for the analysis of the main abiotic and biotic variables.
