Aquarium closing

Due to extraordinary maintenance, the Aquarium is temporarily closed

Unita Acquario 20The Aquarium of Naples opened on January 26, 1874, by will of the german naturalist Anton Dohrn, first exemple in Europe of a structure entirely dedicated to the exposition of the marine flora and fauna of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Aquarium still preserves its original structure with 26 expositive tanks that offer to the visitors a window on the extraordinary variety of organisms and habitats of the Gulf of Naples.
