An essential part of the life of an institute of research is the education and training of young researchers who will become future leaders in research and industry. The SZN is committed to high quality advanced training and promotes this activity by supporting several educational initiatives. At the undergraduate level the institute promotes undergraduate study (for example many undergraduates carry out the experimental part of their thesis in the laboratories of the SZN). Advanced postgraduate study is also carried out in the form of the Laurea Magistrale or Masters courses in collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope.
In addition, students may undertake training to the Doctoral level. The SZN hosts both an International programme in collaboration with the Open University, UK and, in agreement with Italian Universities, it supports the following Doctoral programmes.
