Research interests: Ecology of marine zooplankton. Biodiversity. Phenology and long-term variability of zooplankton communities and populations in relation to abiotic and biotic variability of the pelagic system. Copepod taxonomy; species coexistence and succession; grazing. Small-scale behaviour of small planktonic copepods and their interactions with prey and predators.
